Ramps for Differently abled Students

Section 46 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation of Rights) Act, 1995 (PwD Act) includes provision for ramps, rails, lifts for persons with disabilities. Section 46 of PwD Act specifically deals with non-discrimination with the built environment, and accordingly, the college authorities have taken appropriate steps to install ramps and an elevator to facilitate differently-abled persons' hassle-free movement within college premises.
